As I waited for the teakettle to boil this morning, I observed a squirrel gnawing a hole in the birdfeeder and distributing the contents to the smaller squirrels and birds gathered below. Daylight savings time starts this Sunday, and warmer temperatures are expected next week. Before long, I won't need to refill the feeders daily, as nature will assume the responsibility of feeding the little creatures.
These thoughts got me excited about summer and the fantastic return of the region's abundant art shows! If you're anything like me, this is one of the absolute best parts of summer, and I'm thrilled to share below the shows I have lined up and where you can find more information about them as you begin to plan your summer entertainment.
