The Future

I have sat on this post for nearly a year, waiting for an epiphany, but none has come.
I have spent the past year and a half reflecting on my practice and asking some hard questions as life has changed drastically around me. Without getting caught up in the weeds, I have decided to step back from in-person shows to focus on work that deeply interests me. At some point, I will begin stocking items in my Etsy shop again, but for the time being, it remains empty as I figure out how I want my new practice to feel.
I am still open to discussing commissions, and have committed to delivering my first in-person weekend intensive training later in August. More classes may come, dependent upon the feedback I receive after this first class. I'll see you at the Michiana Pottery Tour in September—I will be at Norah's stop in South Bend—and possibly at the Christmas show in Goshen in December. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone I have met over the years, both at in-person shows and online. You have enriched my life, and I am grateful for every one of you. As I delve into this new chapter, I promise to share what I am working on and to let you know how to stay engaged and where you can find my work. Until then, the best way to keep up with me is on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/loriemarshceramics/.
