Wow. What an incredible year it has been. Michiana Pottery Tour was amazing.
I completed several commissions, and began stocking my work in Goshen, Indiana, at the Local Co. 132 and online at Mini Home Beautiful. And, like the cobbler's children with no shoes, my Etsy page is empty.
2019 was a year of giant leaps amidst hundreds of tiny pots. Who knew, last winter when my friend Jim took pity on me and made me a mini wheel that minis would consume my life - in the best way possible. Going small has opened so many doors for me and catapulted my devotion into a paying business. But making money to do what I love was not the best part of 2019; the best part was the opportunity to share my love of ceramics with others, culminating with my giving a mini pot to each of the women in my family at Thanksgiving.
Good vibes are coming for 2020. I can feel them from here. In January I will demo my mini wheel to a ceramics class in town. In February, I've been invited to share my work with Fairy Garden enthusiasts at a local show. And I promise, I'll actually populate my Etsy page. Good vibes, indeed.
Until then, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
