I have great news - the first Fuck Cancer mug has been broken! It has been six long months since I began the Fuck Cancer campaign, and in truth, I was beginning to fear I would never see my dreams for this campaign come true. I am thrilled beyond words.
I began this campaign in September, after losing a childhood friend, an uncle, and the family dog to cancer. I was devastated, but even more importantly, I was angry. I wanted to go to war with cancer, and this was my way of doing just that. It would be great to see cancer eradicated as easily as dashing a mug to the ground. Until then, I’ll just have to settle for a lot of broken mugs.
